The park features fishing, sports facilities, hiking trails and more on its 1790 acres. Lums Pond itself offers a sandy beach for sunbathing (swimming is not allowed), and boat rentals provide water-bound recreation in the summer months. A boat launching ramp and two piers allow easy access to the water. With so many choices for outdoor recreation, you may decide to stay for awhile. The 68-site campground offers modern showers, a dumping station, picnic tables and grills. The sites are all large and six of them now have electric hookups. Yurts have also been introduced to the park.
