Description:

Since 1995, Take a trip back to the 1750s. Now in its 18th year, the Fort Frederick 18th Century Market Fair features the best artisans, craftspeople, and sutlers together with an 18th Century encampment. See Maryland's French and Indian war era stone fort built in 1756. See hundreds of reenactors and 18th century sutlers (venders) selling 18th c. wares: paintings and prints, clothing, books, camp gear, muskets, fireplace and cooking hardware, lanterns, copperware, etc. Don't miss the Auction on Saturday. Hosted by the "Friends of Fort Frederick" Take exit 12 off of I-70, about 15 minutes west of Hagerstown.
