Saturday will be anything but a “Silent Night” as the Greater Brighton Area Chamber of Commerce transforms Main Street in downtown Brighton into a “Winter Wonderland” at this year’s Holiday Glow. There will be shopping, dining, and sales galore throughout the day. And then at 4pm Main Street closes and the festivities begin! You’ll have a jolly good time through 7pm as dancers, choirs, the Brighton High School Pom Squad, reindeer and Santa and Mrs. Clause make their way to the City’s “North Pole”, the Mill Pond. It’s an enchanting moment for all to enjoy - an old fashioned holiday celebration! The Chamber will add to the warm and cozy atmosphere with holiday treats, such as Oh My Lolli’s holiday candy canes, and hot drinks to sooth any soul. At 6pm, Mayor Bandkau will ceremonially present Santa with the “Keys to the City” which ignite the Mill Pond lights. The official lighting of the lights creates the “Holiday Glow.”
