Description:
This 33-acre museum is located on the site of the Orphan Girl Mine which operated from 1875 to 1956. The museum incorporates hundreds of pieces of orginial mine equipment with an authentic reproduction of a mining town known as Hell Roarin' Gulch, constructed from historic materials and filled with thousands of artifacts from the 1890's.
