This 763-acre day-use park is a popular get-away for area residents. The park lake, formally a mill pond that dates back to the Civil War days, features cypress trees, numerous species of birds and a variety of wildlife and plant life. This regional state park offers seasonal boating, fishing, picnicking and a meeting building. Enjoy fishing in the park's 140-acre lake for bass, bream and catfish. Private boats with electric trolling motors, canoes and other non-motorized boats are allowed on the park's 140-acre lake. There are canoe and boat rentals.
