Join us in shared public delight at the Garfield Park Conservatory on 3 Wednesday evenings this summer, where we invite the public to get better at something together! Bring your violin, your harmonica, your ukulele, or whatever instrument it is you play and practice it anywhere in the Conservatory or on the Conservatory grounds. Take a break and join your family for a picnic, explore the urban nature around you, and watch others get better. This is a great event for all ages and all skill levels. Public Practice Tuning on Great Lawn begins at 7:15 pm. Song led by unique musical guest begins at 7:30 pm. Group playing around the fire completes the evening. (For everyone’s simple enjoyment, no amplification, busking, or promotional activities, please!)Bring your lawn chairs, your children, and your best singing voice. We will provide the marshmallows and an urban wildlife checklist.
