Description:
Since 1952, The Potomac River Festival is a 3 day event beginning with the Firemen's Parade Friday evening at 7pm. The Colonial Beach Volunteer Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary also sponsors a carnival during this Friday and Saturday. The fun continues with music, dancing, arts and craft vendors, food vendors, evening concert with beer and wine sales, and many other activities happening during the day. Sunday the arts and crafts and food vendors continue their sales and the Grand Boat Parade traveling up river from Monroe Bay to the town pier.
