Pow Wows are a celebration of heritage and life. At a gathering, natives would barter goods in exchange for other goods. The practice still holds today although money is mostly exchanged. Drums will be the center of the Pow Wow, as will singing, dancing, eating and trading. Demonstrations of all kinds will be offered during this event such as storytelling, knife making, leather working, jewerly, clothes making, bead working and feather working.
