This scenic river preserves relatively unspoiled land in southwest West Virginia and contains natural and historic features of the Appalachian plateau. Pipestem and Bluestone State Parks and Bluestone Hunting and Fishing Area are located along the 12-mile segment of the Lower Bluestone River.
