View wolves, otters, raccoons, fish, and cougar in outdoor habitat areas or in an indoor nocturnal exhibit at the Woodlands Buidling on this 700-acre wildlife refuge. The Nature Center offers hands-on exhibits, and the Observation Building / Resch Conservation Wing houses an animal rehabilitation unit, live critter (hands-on) counter, a snake exhibit, a bat colony, forest / field / beach songbird exhibits, a fish aquarium, a water fowl feeding concession with wild, free flying ducks and geese, and an outdoor Birds of Prey exhibit. Deer and coyote habitat areas and 6.2 miles of hiking and cross-country ski trails with learning stations and picnic areas are also located at the sanctuary. Across from Bay Beach Amusement Park.
