The museum focuses on local history, especially the glove and leather industry, through various collections, including 18th and 19th century weavings, 1800-present day glove machinery, a leather tanning room, and 18th and 19th century muskets, pistols, swords and daggers. There is also a c.1900 tanning room, an old school room, a blacksmith shop, an Indain longhouse, railroad artifacts, dioramas, photographs and documents of the Sacandaga valley before the flood, and Indian artifacts and dolls.
