Since 1975, Horicon Chamber of Commerce’s fine arts and crafts show, Autumn Art on the Marsh, with approximately 130 booths of talented artist’s and crafter’s handcrafted works are on display making for a variety of items to choose from to help get your holiday shopping started early. Choose from beautiful dried floral arrangements, hand carved wooden toys and furniture, unique wall hangings, knitted and quilted items, handmade jewelry, framed photography and paintings, hand sewn clothes and doll clothes, twigged furniture, engraved polished stones and much, much more. There is no commercially or mechanically reproduced items allowed so you are assured that your purchases will be unique. Good food will also be on hand with the Horicon Chamber serving hot turkey and beef sandwiches, chili and caramel apple sundaes while the Horicon Band Boosters will once again be holding their homemade dessert sale. The show is in a beautiful park setting with a playground that will keep the kids busy while you search for treasures. Horicon sits on the southern border of the famous Horicon Marsh refuge so you can take a break from shopping and drive around the Marsh, take a pontoon boat tour on the Marsh or hike one of the many trails that are provided on Horicon Marsh.
