Jamestown, NY native, Joshua Stafford, was introduced to the pipe organ at age 10 at a three-day Organ Encounter held by the local chapter of the American Guild of Organists. He began his concert career during the 2000 summer season at the Chautauqua Institution, where he was a regular performer on the Massey Memorial Organ, the world’s largest outdoor pipe organ. After being mentored by Richard Corbin, he studied under local organists and after graduation from high school, entered the prestigious Curtis Institute on a full scholarship. Mr. Stafford graduated from Curtis in 2010 and now pursues his master’s degree at Yale University while maintaining a concert schedule and serving as organist and choir director at St. Andrew’s Anglo-Catholic Church in Stamford, CT.
