Lowell Area Arts Council

The Michigan Photo Competition is a statewide, juried photography competition showcasing the wide array of fine photographic talent found in all corners of our great state. All types and processes of photography are welcomed. In honor of this photographic excellence, $2,100 in prize money will be awarded. Guest Juror: Dennis Grantz has a long history as an artist and art educator in Michigan. He teaches photography at the West Michigan Center for Arts and Technology (WMCAT) where he founded the photo program in 2005 and served as Director of Youth Arts. He is currently also an Adjunct Professor of Photography at Kendall College of Art and Design of Ferris State University.
