Since 1976, this event features entertainers and music styles of the art deco period jazz, big band and swing. This event supports and celebrates the unique aspect of the community. Educational lectures, classic car fest, Art Deco weekend lawn party, Bark-Deco dog show, kids club, fashion show, guided walking tours and merchandise, plus much more. The Jazz Age Lawn Party – the world’s original and largest prohibition era inspired gathering consistently selected by the New York Times as one of the year’s most memorable events – is taking a historic first step on new sand at the 40th Annual Art Deco Weekend. Having recently concluded its 11th season in New York City, founder and headliner, Michael Arenella will be bringing this beloved event to Miami. Guests can expect to be immersed in 1920s and 30s jazz. The festival is located from 5th to 15th street on Ocean Drive (two blocks east of Washington Ave).
