Since 1989, one of the largest New Year's Eve event South of Times Square features musical entertainment, family activities, variety of ethnic foods, laser and fireworks extravaganza, and the 400 foot ascent of the 35 foot neon Big Orange to the top of the Hotel Inter-Continental.
