Held at the Century Memorial Chapel. The perfect Chicago dog is nestled in a poppy seed bun and dressed with mustard, neon-green relish, dill pickle, chopped onions, sport peppers, celery salt and tomato slices – but never, ever ketchup! Bob Schwartz, author of “Never Put Ketchup on a Hot Dog,” will share the history from the Columbian Exposition World’s Fair of 1893 to tales of memorable stands and the people who made the “dogs” and served them to generations of devoted customers. Enjoy a Chicago-style hot dog following the presentation.
