Since 1971,150 juried artists and crafsmen from all over the United States exhibit and sell their creative work. Entertainment is continuous featuring country, gospel, folk and contemporary music, clogging and a variety of entertainment is featured. Food is provided by local church and civic groups with a variety of country cooking. Favorites include pork, turkey and chicken Bar B Q. Southern vegetable plates, sausage and biscuits, hamburgers, hot dogs, fried fruit pies, vegetarian type foods and much more. Highlights include demonstrations of plantation skills such as blacksmithing, sorghum syrup mill, and the original Powers' Plantation grist mill. Children are entertained in a special children's park area with adult supervision.
