Central Florida’s premier daytime holiday parade, now called the Orlando Fashion Square Christmas Parade will move from Downtown Orlando to the Orlando Fashion Square Mall as a one-day family friendly festival and parade. The festival begins at 10am on Saturday Dec. 13th with a Christmas parade starting at 11am on Maguire Blvd. and Bennett Road. This year's parade Grand Marshal will be Miss America 2015, Kira Kazantsev. The theme will be “Let the Holiday Magic Begin” and will feature 75 plus parade entries to include floats, Super Hero characters and area mascots, horse-drawn carriages, celebrities and twenty non-profit groups. Leading the parade will be the Daytona 500 Pace Car and of course, Santa Claus will make an appearance at the end of the parade. Before the parade begins, enter your pet in the Subaru of South Orlando Jingle Bell Dog Jog presented by Mercedes Benz of South Orlando to benefit local pet rescues. Holiday themed pet costumes are encouraged. The TRUSTCO Bank Holiday at the Square Festival located in the Dillard's parking lot will feature 15 LIVE yuletide performances from the IOA Insurance Stage along with the Pet Supermarket Pet Costume Contest. Over 40 vendors will be on hand including 10 food trucks. The Florida Hospital mobile Mammogram screening unit will be on site along with a KIDZONE and Santa Meet and Greet.
