Since 1980. Frontier's Day festival is a family friendly event. The day kicks off with a parade in downtown Paris with a bicycle decorating contest for the kids. The annual car show will take place on the square from 10 am to 2 pm. Then join us at the North Logan County Fair grounds from 10 am to 5 pm for all day fun. Watch Southern BMX stunt show at 12 pm, 2, pm and 4 pm with autographs after each show and a bike giveaway after the 4 pm show time. Free pumpkin patch sponsored by CASA starting at 10 am. Youth and adult duck calling contest and box turtle race will be held outside at the main stage at 12:30 pm with trophies, ribbons and cash prizes. The quilt show is being hosted by the Logan County quilters guild with beautiful quilts displayed in the main building starting at 10 am. The live cannon reenactments will be accompanied by Civil war reenactments at 11 am and 1 pm. Frontier games for the kids sponsored by Logan County Museum will be fun and educational. Live entertainment is scheduled all day with Merilee Voth, Brodie Lovelace, Zoie Bell, Martha Johnson and the Dolicimer Group. Great food and craft vendors will be on hand all day for your shopping pleasure and the kids zone has lots of fun in store with bounce arounds, petting zoo, pony rides and face paintings. The Miss Mountain Magazine Pageant will be held on October 3rd at 5pm at the Paris Middle School Auditorium with a $750 scholarship given to the winner.
