Since 1963, the scenic Ohio River serves as the backdrop for a huge musical entertainment lineup featuring top nationally known performing artists plus many regional performers. Events include Queen's pageant, river activities, arts and crafts, sidewalk sales, rotary fish fry, fireworks, midway rides, Grand Parade and catfish tournament.

Hello...my name is Anita McComas and my husband Shawn plays in a band called Last Chantz and we would like to know how we could go about or talk to about playing at the riverdaysevent. They have played all over southern Ohio and would love to perform for the great city of Portsmouth. They have opened up for Mcguffy Lane,Jona Lee White and recently won battle of bands at the Lawrence Co Fair and had the oppertunity to open up for LoCash Cowboys and Jerrod Nehman. The Last Chantz plays country,southern rock and some bluegrass.
