This nature center, which is located on a 33-acre greenspace, the former Nunataks Estate, has wildlife, working and observational honeybees hives, pond life aquaria and brook, 25 acres of woodlands and wetland, a 2-acre lawn with specimen scrubs and trees, rock outcrops and Fordham Gneiss, a live animal museum with about 140 exotic and local fauna, glacial boulders, a nature discovery room with hands-on exhibits, a rock garden, an apple orchard, an herb garden, natural history artifacts and Native American and colonial farm artifacts.
