Mingo Creek Park and Observatory
Description:
This observatory is part of the park, dedicated in 2005 and operated by the Amateur Astronomers Association of Pittsburgh, the building contains two telescopes and a planetarium. Visitors are invited to the observatory for a variety of events and programs, including the Star Parties, which run in the spring, summer and fall on various evenings.
