Make Oakwoods Metropark's wooded nature trails and picturesque view of the Huron River your destination for a family outing. The kids will rate the live turtles and snakes at the nature center "cool." three-mile paved hike-bike trail is part of a 15-mile trail system through Lower Huron, Oakwoods and Willow Metroparks. Anglers can fish from rowboats or canoes in the backwaters of the Huron River. Shoreline fishing is allowed in designated areas only.
