One of the finest art shows in the U.S. Also held on the main campus at the Pennsylvania State University, Memorial Field and Schwab Auditorium as well. You won’t want to miss our giant sand sculpture, the Downtown State College Italian Street Painting Festival, or BookFest. We have a full day of children’s activities, a gallery exhibition, and more! Since 1960, one of the best amateur youth circus' in the country. A 3-ring extravaganza of over 200 children performing on the flying trapeze, highwire, bareback riding, midway arts and crafts and more. Experience the beautifully costumed young performers who are so skilled that circus fans find it hard to believe they are amateurs; enjoy the rides, food, games and more on the main streets of Peru and for the grand finale, Peru's own Circus City Parade, one of Indiana's largest parades, steps off at 10am on the final Saturday.

Since 1965, Main street comes alive with the biggest parade in the State, delicious seafood, and a juried craft and art show. There is live entertainment happening on 3 stages all weekend long! There are fun competitions from the Diaper Derby to a professional bike race, and a firefighter's muster to the Maine State Clam Shucking Contest. There is a fun run (1 mile for kids) and a 5 mile road race for adults. We feature a canoe race, fireworks, a street dance and lots more fun for the entire family.

Night in Venice is a traditional highlight of the summer season in Ocean City — with thousands of spectators lining the bayfront and thousands more attending private parties at homes along the route from the Ocean City-Longport Bridge to Tennessee Avenue. Colorful parade features more than 100 decorated boats and 300 decorated bayfront homes. Night in Venice starts at the Longport Bridge to Tennessee Avenue along the bay. Come out and feast on some of the best seafood in the area and enjoy entertainment and rides for the kids. A fireworks display will cap off Ocean City’s Night in Venice boat and bayfront celebration this year.

One of the midwest's largest jazz and blues festivals with over 18 hours of free music on two stages. The annual Sioux Falls Jazz and Blues Festival, JazzFest, has become a summer favorite for Sioux Falls and the region. JazzFest is a three-day outdoor musical event, featuring two stages of music and is FREE to the public. In addition to the great music, there is also food and art vendors, beer and wine gardens, arts and crafts, 5k run/fun walk, fireworks and more! JazzFest usually takes place the third weekend in July and is located at Yankton Trail Park in Sioux Falls, SD. JazzFest 2016 marks the festival’s 25th celebration year! Since 1937. The Festival has been held annually since the 1937 with the exception of 1942 due the bombing of Pearl Harbor. The Catholic Community of St. Christopher in Speedway will be celebrating its Mid-Summer Festival known as "The Festival that’s Tops in Food!". Today it is one of the oldest Festivals in the State of Indiana and the fourth largest event in Speedway annually behind the 3 Motor Speedway events. Famous hand battered fish sandwiches and festival food fare, Monte Carlo, Amusement Rides, Bingo – Live Entertainment – Friday Polkaboy – Saturday – the Cool City Swing Band!
