Since 1958. The oldest festival of its kind in the Northeast attracts people from New England and other areas of the country to our region during this two day event. As a juried art show, the festival attracts an audience of discriminating art enthusiasts who plan on purchasing both fine art and crafts from our 270 artists and artisans. The festival showcases more than 100,000 diverse pieces of oils, watercolors, photographs, pastels,sculpture, acrylics and more over two miles of art in the heart of Historic Downtown Mystic. The event is free of charge to the public and there are activities for all ages, including a Children’s Art Park. Area nonprofit organizations offer food and drink for sale to raise money for their organizations, making this a great community event.

Since 1941, the granddaddy of all motorcycle rallies and races. This is a chance to see more bikes and bikers than you could ever imagine all in one place. Sturgis is transformed by an onslaught of events held throughout the town for the entire week. Shows by major motorcycle manufacturers displaying new models, photo opps with unique individuals and bikes, breakfasts, rides through the streets and the hills, free concerts, races and poker runs. The National Motorcycle Museum hosts various events all week. Many events benefit causes such as Easter Seals and children's charities.

Since 1988. Downtown Fort Collins has a tradition of celebrating the town’s birthday with an all-encompassing festival. The community will celebrate with Bohemian Nights at NewWestFest, a community, arts, and music festival. 150 years ago, Fort Collins was established along the banks of the Cache la Poudre River, the natural location for this community-wide birthday celebration is among the original historic buildings of Downtown Fort Collins. NewWestFest has continued to grow over the last 25+ years, bringing high quality artisans, performers and cuisines to the community. This year celebrates 10 years of Bohemian Nights music lineup with over 70 amazing Colorado bands! There are two main sections of the festival specifically for kids. The first is Kids’ Music Adventure, the free, interactive kids’ portion of Bohemian Nights at NewWestFest. In the Library Park courtyard, kids can interact with real instruments, see live musical performances, make their own instruments and participate in a number of other music workshops. The annual festival is produced in collaboration with the Downtown Fort Collins Business Association. This free community music festival features a variety of genres and includes a family-centered Kids’ Music Adventure.

Since 1896, food, games, fireworks and entertainment for the whole family. There will be a solemn mass and procession on Saturday at 10am. There will be additional vendors on the street selling roasted nuts, kettle corn, artichokes, gyros, lemonade, elephant ears, clams, funnel cakes and more! Also there will be Italian musical entertainment on the street - singers, choral group, and dancers. The Feast closes with an evening procession on Sunday following the 8 pm Mass --- and begins at Holy Rosary Church at 9:30 p.m. This procession heads up Mayfield Road to E. 123 rd street and returns down Mayfield Road to the Church, followed by a closing prayer service. Fireworks will follow at approximately 10:00 p.m. in Tony Brush Park.

The Piedmont Park Summer Arts and Crafts Festival is a 2- day outdoor event with an emphasis on the visual arts and family fun presented by the Atlanta Foundation for Public Spaces, for people of all ages, races, customs and interests. The midtown community of Piedmont Park is considered to be home to one of the largest and most enthusiastic art buying communities in metro Atlanta. The Piedmont Park Summer Arts and craft festival bringing back the tradition to Atlanta’s arts community. This event will feature up to 250 painters, photographers, sculptors, leather and metalwork, glass blowers, jewelers, and crafters! The Festival will also offer artist demonstrations, live acoustic music, an Emerging Artists Pavilion, a children’s play area, plus festival foods and beverages with healthy alternatives.

The 2016 Irish Fair of Minnesota, a three-day annual celebration of Irish heritage and culture, will be held Friday, Aug. 12 through Sunday, Aug. 14 on Harriet Island in St. Paul, Minn. With approximately 100,000 attendees each year, this event is the largest free celebration of its kind in the nation. Celebrating its 37th year, the Irish Fair of Minnesota will continue to provide a family-friendly experience featuring a multitude of activities, including traditional music and music lessons, Irish dance, Gaelic sports, a Children’s Tent, Irish movies, native Irish dogs, the Best Legs in a Kilt Contest, a Tea Room, Speaker’s Tent, a variety of Irish shopping, and an array of food and beverage options to enjoy. From internationally-known to locally-grown, the three entertainment stages will feature some of the best Irish music. A sampling of bands booked include: Gaelic Storm; Eileen Ivers; The High Kings; Derek Warfield and The Young Wolfe Tones; Wild Colonial Bhoys; Socks in the Frying Pan; and the Tim Malloys.
