A Western New York holiday tradition, Christmas in the Country, has garnered recognition as the nation’s foremost holiday artisan marketplace for almost 15 years and once again in 2011, Sunshine Artist ranked the event #1 in the country. The event has grown from a modest quilt show to a marketplace of over 400 artisans from across the country and around the globe. Attendees to Christmas in the Country will find unique and only handcrafted creations including gourmet foods, spa quality bath and beauty products, trendsetting jewelry, handpoured aromatic candles, eco-friendly clothing, pottery, original wall art, woodwork, home décor and holiday gift items galore. The artisans are spread out over four buildings at the Hamburg Fairgrounds. As always, Premier Promotions continues to attract new and talented artisans.

Since 1973, The Great Gulfcoast Arts Festival is one of the best-regarded, most popular arts festivals in the United States. The parade is held at 9am on Main Street the last Saturday of the event.

Since 1961, world-renowned festival of German heritage and sausage making, plenty of bratwurst beer, fun and live entertainment on the banks of the Cormal River and polka. 2014 saw the expansion of the grounds with the opening of the exciting new Stelzenplatz, nestled between the Stelzenhaus and the river. This new venue ushered in an additional live music stage, bringing the total to five, as well as additional midway rides, food trucks, and unique shopping opportunities. Another popular addition was the biergarten, which boasts a selection of 30+ craft beers from throughout Texas and the rest of the nation. The new Stelzenplatz was home to our inaugural Craft Beer Festival in May of 2015, allowing guests a chance to rekindle the Wurstfest spirit during the off season.

The streets of historic downtown Gainesville, from City Hall to the Hippodrome State Theatre will be transformed into a celebration of art and creativity complete with live music, performing arts and a spectacular array of food. More than 100,000 art lovers will fill the streets to enjoy and purchase one-of-a-kind artwork. The festival features 240 local and national artists displaying original oils and acrylics, vibrant watercolors, unique sculptures, dazzling jewelry, decorative ceramics and vivid photography. Children can create their own art at the Imagination Station, a free hands-on art activity area including sidewalk-chalk drawing, painting, mask design, puppet creation, clay sculpting and interactive entertainment. For music lovers enjoy continuous, live entertainment on four stages by local bands, solo musicians and dance companies. The festival weekend will kick off with a free Downtown Blues Concert on Friday, from 7 to 10 p.m. featuring three incredible blues performances.

Runners run through all 5 boroughs of New York has been the race to watch. It is a 26.2 mile course starting in Staten Island and ending in Central Park. It is preceded by the NYC Marathon Expo event featuring health and fitness related products and demonstrations. The start/staging area is at Fort Wadsworth, in Staten Island under The Verrazano Bridge. The route travels over the bridge and through the five boros.
