The Chet Kingery Memorial Bluegrass Festival started in 2013 to honor a local bluegrass musician, Chet Kingery, who passed away in 1998. He and his band, Chet Kingery and the Knights of Bluegrass were based out of Arthur, Illinois and played many venues in the bluegrass circuit over the years. Festival starts at noon and runs until 10:00 pm. Cost is $25.00 all day and night with wristband. Children 16 and under free with paid adult. Peerformers include Russell Moore and IIITRD TYME Out, and more. Advance Ticket link will be available for a price of $20.00 - STAY TUNED! All bands will perform an afternoon and evening show. Family Friendly Event. There will be instrumental workshops and jamming! No outside food or drinks allowed. Only animals allowed are service dogs. Bring lawn chairs.
