The Wick Theatre in Boca Raton has gathered one of its largest casts ever for the big, booming theatrical experience that is The Music Man. Tony award-nominee John Tartaglia and Julie Kleiner star in this romantic musical comedy which has been entertaining audiences since 1957. This six-time Tony Award-winning musical runs from November 29-December 26, 2019, with 2pm matinee and 7:30pm evening performances. The Music Man follows fast-talking traveling salesman, Harold Hill, as he cons the people of River City, Iowa, into buying instruments and uniforms for a boys' band that he vows to organize – this, despite the fact that he doesn't know a trombone from a treble clef. His plans to skip town with the cash are foiled when he falls for Marian, the librarian, who transforms him into a respectable citizen by curtain's fall. The Music Man opens for preview on Friday, November 29th at 7:30 p.m. The Gala Opening Night performance is Saturday, November 30th at 7:30 p.m. The regular performance schedule is Wednesday through Sunday.
