Description:

Since 1934, Museum of Northern Arizona, Indian market featuring Native American artists selling their works in booths, as well as demonstrations, tribal dances, lectures, childrens activities and a Nuvatukya 5K foot race. Gain insight from carvers, painters, jewelers, potters, quilters and weavers of baskets and textiles. Enjoy storytelling, music and dancing. Taste Hopi bread baked in outside ovens. Walk the Rio de Flag Nature Trail with a Hopi medicine woman. Participate in discussions about the Hopi values of humility, respect, balance and earth stewardship.
