This is a history museum that is housed in an 1861 Benninghofen mansion with collections that consist of glassware, china, musical instruments, toys, dolls, Indian artifacts and more. This historic house museum, with its original architectural details and numerous period furnishings, reflects the lifestyle of a prosperous industrialist in Hamilton during the Gilded Age. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the house was built between 1861-1863 and is representative of the Italianate architectural style.
