A traditional rural frolic featuring the harvesting, shucking, shelling, and grinding of corn. Cider making, quilting, cooking demonstrations, woodworking, wagon rides, blacksmithing, making apple butter and sorghum syrup, and numerous other heritage activities and craft demonstrations will be held that day.
Bring a lawn chair and sit back and listen to some great traditional and bluegrass music by area groups; including: Mickey Galyean & Cullen's Bridge, Carson Peters & Iron Mountain, Travis Frye & Blue Mountain, Harrison Ridge, Slate Mountain Ramblers, Zephyr Lightning Bolts, and CandelFirth.
Cap the day off with chicken stew, bbq, pintos, fried pies, and apple cider. Wonderful products & gifts available at our Country Store.
Fees charged for admission, food, drinks, and some craft activities. No outside food allowed. Pets (other than service animals) and firearms prohibited.
