Join is for the 46th annual San Diego Bay Parade of Lights, a time-honored tradition brought to San Diego by the boating community. Participants in this year’s highly anticipated holiday boat parade will decorate their boats to fit this year’s theme, “Arrgh! A Pirate’s Christmas.” The parade begins at Shelter Island and proceeds to Harbor Island, the Embarcadero, Seaport Village, The Pier at Cesar Chavez Park, and ends at the Ferry Landing in Coronado. The San Diego Bay Parade of Lights is Presented by the Port of San Diego. The San Diego Bay Parade of Lights is held two consecutive Sundays starting at 5 pm: • Sunday, December 10, 2017 • Sunday, December 17, 2017 Approximate Times at Locations Around the Bay: • Shelter Island (start of parade): 5:00 PM • Harbor Island: 5:30 PM • The Embarcadero: 6:00 PM • Seaport Village: 6:30 PM • The Pier at Cesar Chavez Park: 6:45 PM • Ferry Landing on Coronado: 7:00 PM Boat owners interested in participating in this year’s San Diego Bay Parade of Lights are strongly urged to submit the registration form and the $60 entry fee online at www.sdparadeoflights.org. Everyone who participates in both nights of the parade and passes both sets of judges will be eligible to win a variety of prizes. The grand prize is a luxury cruise on Royal Caribbean.
