Spring into magic when Albie Selznick returns to the Santa Monica Playhouse with his trademark Magic Monday. Every Monday evening through the end of August will see a new and different lineup of world-class, award-winning magicians and outstanding variety acts. Get ready for an unforgettable season of show-stopping feats — including sleight of hand, interactive parlor magic and mind-blowing illusions. Recommended for ages 6 and up.

Hosted by Albie Selznick (lifetime member of the Magic Castle, creator/performer of hit theatrical magic show Smoke and Mirrors, numerous acting credits including Good Girls and the upcoming Ryan Murphy Netflix series The Politician with Gwyneth Paltrow and Ben Platt).

Featuring performances by: • Jon Armstrong (Two-time Magic Castle “Close-Up Magician of the Year”) • Simon Coronel (Two-time award winner at the World Championship of Magic; fooled Penn and Teller on Fool Us) • Dave Cox (Award-winning magician of the improvisational duo The Charlatans) • Ming Da (award-winning magician from Singapore) • Bruce Gold (Penn and Teller’s Fool Us) • Andrew Goldenhersh (Two-time Magic Castle “Parlour Magician of the Year”) • Christopher Hart (Award-winning magician and The Thing in The Addams Family films) • Pop Haydn (seven-time Magic Castle “Magician of the Year”) • Hillel “Mr. Balloon Man” (Argentinean master magician and clown) • Jack Kalvan (Award-winning Juggler as seen on The Tonight Show) • Billy Kidd (from the U.K., she earned the only standing ovation from Penn and Teller on Fool Us and is a full-time wizard judge on Wizard Wars) • David Kovac (named “Trickster Hero” by the Chicago Tribune) • Krystyn Lambert (one of the most recognized females in magic, with her own solo act in Criss Angel's “MindFreak” Vegas show) • Jonathan Levit (world renowned “magicians’ magician” and consultant on the Now You See Me movies) • Max Maven (multi-international award-winning mentalist) • Steve Owens (14-time magic award winner and hand-shadow artist) • Michael Rayner (America’s Got Talent, The Late Late Show with James Corden) • William Schwartzman (at 14 years old, the youngest magician at the Magic Castle) • Arthur Trace (only the eighth magician in the history of magic to be awarded the gold medal from The International Brotherhood of Magicians) • Steve Valentine (Scottish-American award-winning magician best known as “Nigel Townsend” on Crossing Jordan)
