Since 1980. Founded by the late Selma author Kathryn Tucker Windham, the family event features three nationally known storytellers plus a vocal string band/comedy troupe from Birmingham. This year’s entertainment offers folk tales, spooky tales, sacred tales and hilarious misadventures with plenty of Appalachian heritage in the mix. The family-friendly event will be held at the Carneal Cultural Arts Center, 3 Church St., and features meaningful stories and lots of laughter! The Swappin’ Ground, where amateurs can tell their own tales, starts at 6 pm with the main event at 7 pm both nights. Visit ArtsRevive on Facebook for more information.
