The zoo and museum of natural history are dedicated to education and conservation. Most of the 500 species of animals exhibited are endangered. The over 150 exhibits of mounted animals in life-size diorams make this a standout family experience. The zoo features a petting zoo and animal shows and the museum exhibits natural history of the Dakota territory.
