Brendan Fillingim and Deputy Ron Williams will present the history of the YCSO in stories and photos. They have collected many photos and artifacts and have researched past Yavapai County Sheriffs in preparation for the celebration of the sesquicentennial. The YCSO is collaborating with Sharlot Hall Museum to open an exhibit titled "Law and Justice In Yavapai County 1864-2015" in January 2015. Brendan Fillingim is a Cold Case Investigator in the Criminal Investigations Bureau and is also Agency Historian. He has worked in public safety for nearly 10 years, and has an Associate Degree in Administration of Justice and a Bachelor's Degree in Emergency Services Administration. Deputy Williams is a 20 year law enforcement veteran and is currently the civil deputy for YCSO. He has served with the Sheriff's Office for 9 years. The lecture will be given at the Community Center located at the Skull Valley Elementary School. Music will be performed prior to the meeting starting at 6:30 PM. . Refreshments will be served.
