The Skull Valley Historical Society will celebrate the beginning of the summer season with an Ice Cream Sundae Sunday Party at the museum located at 3150 Old Skull Valley Rd., from 2pm-4pm. Design your own sundae and enjoy hot dogs and cold drinks under the shade of the cool cottonwoods. All donations will benefit the historical society in its ongoing goals of preserving local history, artifacts, and historical buildings in its care. Wander through the 1898 Santa Fe railroad depot and view many railroad and early mining and ranching artifacts and pictures from the area. Experience 1920s family life in Skull Valley in the Section House. No admission is charged to tour the museum. Donations are gratefully accepted. This event is a fundraiser for the restoration of the 1925 school house.
