Kick off the holiday season with Snowflake’s traditional Annual Town Lighting Ceremony, sponsored by the Snowflake-Taylor Chamber of Commerce and the Snowflake Heritage Foundation. This event is the first of a variety of Christmas activities throughout December. Festivities begin Thursday evening with the arrival of Santa and Mrs. Claus at the Freeman Home, (1st St. North at Main) with goodie bags for the kids. Around 6 p.m., the mayor will flip the switch to illuminate the iconic Snowflake holiday street lighting along Main Street. There will be music, cookies and cocoa to be enjoyed by all. 6 to 8:30 p.m., 1st St. North at Main. Nearby, Nativity sets from around the world will be on display from 6:00 to 8:30 p.m., Thurs Dec. 1 to Sat. Dec. 3. Snowflake LDS Social Hall. Sponsored by the Snowflake Heritage Foundation.
