The Venice Farmer's Market takes place every Saturday in historic downtown Venice, (with a few exceptions when certain festivals are occurring) and is located on Tampa Avenue (between St. Augustine Street and Nassau Street. We currently have over 40 vendors, in the categories of Greenery and Food; Non-Food, Artwork and Jewelry; and Non-Profits. We pride ourselves in offering our "market" customers with products containing the freshest ingredients and only those products which are made by our vendors. In order to give every vendor a fair opportunity to make a good living, we do our best to not have duplicate items being sold by vendors. We are committed to the success of our vendors and the overall market, and we continually look for ways to promote each vendor and the downtown merchants simultaneously. The Venice Farmer's Market was originally designed (and is still today) as a means to encourage people to visit downtown Venice. Products eligible for sale at the "Market" are: Fresh fruits and vegetables, nuts, plants, flowers, honey, baked goods, fresh eggs, fresh seafood, herbs and any items which are grown or growing, as well as hand-crafted jewelry, pottery, ceramics, gourmet food items, or items such as essential oils (not available at local retail merchants, clothing, painting, photography and home decor. All hand-crafted items will be Juried by the Venice Farmer's Market Manager.
