Marsh-Billings National Historical Park

Description:

The park includes the boyhood home of 19th-century environmentalist George Perkins Marsh. In 1869, the Marsh home was purchased by Frederick Billings, for whom Billings, Montana is named. Laurance S. and Mary F. Rockefeller (granddaughter of Frederick Billings) donated the mansion and surrounding hillside.
