Enjoy the bright tree lights, happy smiles and holiday spirit with us at the Christmas Lighting on Main Street holiday celebration. The official lighting ceremony for the Historic Downtown Main Street Christmas Tree, located in front of the Yuma Art Center at 254 S. Main St., will take place at 6 p.m. This festive event features live performances by the Gila Ridge High School Hawkapellas and Treble Hawkapellas, performances by Glam Dance Team by Cindy. Photos with Santa and Mrs. Clause will be located in the Yuma Art Center Galleries. Our WOW Factor Attractions $5 unlimited playtime Kid’s Corner will feature the Frozen Castle Maze, North Pole Rock Wall, Rudolph’s Laser Tag, and Battle Snowballs. New this year, the Yuma Art Center will host a festive spirits and hot chocolate bar! The Toys for a Cause Car Show and Shine will feature vintage vehicles for visitors to view, including classics, hotrods, customs and motorcycles, hosted by Together Car Club of Yuma. Entry fees will go toward raising Christmas toys for children in need. In the spirit of giving, donation boxes from Yuma Community Food Bank and bins for unwrapped toy donations for the Crossroads Mission Women’s Shelter will be available. While admission to the event is free, visitors are encouraged to bring donations to support local families in need.
