Since 1958. The oldest festival of its kind in the Northeast attracts people from New England and other areas of the country to our region during this two day event. As a juried art show, the festival attracts an audience of discriminating art enthusiasts who plan on purchasing both fine art and crafts from our 250 artists and artisans. The festival showcases more than 100,000 diverse pieces of oils, watercolors, photographs, pastels,sculpture, acrylics and more over two miles of art in the heart of Historic Downtown Mystic. The event is free of charge to the public and there are activities for all ages, including a Children’s Art Park. Area nonprofit organizations offer food and drink for sale to raise money for their organizations, making this a great community event.

Since 1986, a celebration of Americas love affair with cars and rock-n-roll. Concerts with top entertainers from the 50s and 60s are big favorites among attendees as they are transfered, if only for a moment, to the innocence of the 50's and wild times of the 60's. Over 5000 vintage and classic cars, an auction, swap meet, poker run and parade. Girls grab your poodle skirt and Guys grab your Brylcreem and come out for the fun. Takes place all throughout Reno and Sparks.

Since 1948, Don't miss the excitement for the festival offers a variety of entertainment events for the entire family. The events take place primarily in the downtown area, and with the exception of the beer garden, have no admission fees or parking fees. Free musical entertainment is in abundance. The Crafters Market Place and flea market features over 200 dealers in hand made crafts and unique merchandise. There is a Queen Pageant, beer garden with live bands, grand parade and a carnival with rides and games for both adults and children, plus much more. The midways are lined with food booths, featuring a multitude of ethnic, regional and festival foods.

Since 1961, one of Oregon's premier ethnic celebrations. This festival highlights the cultural heritage of this small lane country community with entertainment with a Scandinavian theme, including music, dancing and storytelling and a nightly folklore pageant. Since 1985, Held at the city park and county fairgrounds, over 75,000 people attend activities of the festival such as arts and crafts, flea market, antiques and collectibles, softball, basketball and tennis tournaments, tractor pulls, and children's activities. There is also free daily entertainment, a Mint Queen Pageant and mint information and foods. The festival begins Friday afternoon, and then kicks into high gear with the Grand Mint Parade on Saturday. Over 150 entries are highlighted in the parade. Don't forget to get your bowl of Mint Chocolate Chip Ice Cream at the festival! Grand Mint Parade Saturday 10am.

Since 1980. The event will include about 40 crafters and 20 food concessions; amusement rides and concessions. The festival was founded by a small group of Italian Americans residing in Watkins Glen to honor the Feast of the Assumption, which occurs each August. To celebrate, a procession of men carried the Virgin Mary on their shoulders through the streets of the village,  ending in Lafayette Park. Over the years, the celebration grew and the location had to be changed to Clute Park. It is now  a three day event that attracts more than 50,000 visitors.

Since 1984,   Big bands, jugglers, and folk acts will entertain from 5 outdoor stages sponsored by Capital One. This year’s Carytown Watermelon Festival is an experience no one should forgo; this is the jubilant peak of summer in Richmond. last year, 118,000 people made their way to the celebration, buzzing like bees to the hive. The Shriners sliced through a record number of watermelons, feeding the swarms of visitors almost 3000 juicy melons.   The festival will be just as lively this summer, with expectations of even more attendees than last year. there are nearly 50 performances scheduled and more than one hundred street vendors planning to transform Cary Street into the granddaddy of street festivals. Merchants are already decorating their windows with watermelon motifs, while the real watermelons are ripe for the picking and will soon be given a royal welcome in Carytown.

Since 1929, Western Welcome Week is an annual community celebration in the greater Littleton area. Western Welcome Week started in the late 1920s, and has been held every year since. Western Welcome Week includes over 40 events, produced by over 20 organizations, benefiting dozens of local civic and charitable organizations. Features over 50 events during the 11-day celebration, includes concerts, fireworks, BBQ's, parades, arts and crafts, food, Colorado Scottish Festival, kid's fishing derby, trivia tournament, sidewalk sales, Canine Frisbee competitions, golf, horse show, and much more. Takes place in various locations.

A three-day annual celebration of Irish heritage and culture, will be held Friday through Sunday, on Harriet Island in St. Paul, Minn. The Pavilion stage provides a more intimate setting indoors located centrally on the event grounds. Saturday’s schedule includes an unforgettable fireworks show.
