Since 1936, Week long activities to celebrate Veteran's Day. A parade held on Verteran's Day the 11th, begins with a ceremony honoring veterans. One of America's Largest Veterans Day Celebrations, this seven day tribute honors the veterans who have served as the stewards of freedom. The parade is on Veteran's Day at 11am.

Since 1974, this event has more than 10,000 exhibitors displaying and selling there wares and is the world's largest purebred livestock show with more than 20,000 entries in eight major divisions: dairy cattle, dairy goats, llamas, quarter horses, draft horses, market swine, beef cattle and sheep. Plus cowboys and cowgirls compete in bareback, saddle bronc, bull riding, calf roping, team roping, barrell racing and more.

The parade features over 250 groups and 20,000+ participants, including veterans of all eras, military units, civic and youth groups (including Junior ROTC), businesses, and top high school marching bands from across America. Floats, military and vintage vehicles and other special elements add to the excitement, which is viewed by over half a million spectators. The parade goes up Fifth Avenue, from 26th to 48th Street. The route is 1.3 miles (approx. 35 minutes on foot).

Phoenix Veterans Day Parade, presented by Honoring Arizona’s Veterans at 11 a.m. Where: Parade route runs southbound on Central Avenue starting at Montebello, turns east onto Camelback Road and then south on 7th Street, ending at Indian School Road. Honoring Arizona’s Veterans (HAV) pays tribute to our Military and Veterans by hosting the Phoenix Veterans Day Parade at 11 a.m. on the streets of Phoenix. The parade typically boasts more than 100 entries, featuring patriotic floats, high school marching bands, JROTC marching units, color guards, Veterans Service Organizations, animals, novelty units and much, much more.

The largest holiday gift and craft show in Eastern North Carolina returns to the Crown Expo Center. Hosted by the Junior League of Fayetteville the Holly Day Fair is a one- stop holiday shopping event that draws an average of 22,000 attendees and over 160 vendors. Show-goers have an extensive selection of unique handcrafted and manufactured products to select from including the best in holiday decorations, handmade crafts, stylish jewelry and clothes, children’s toys, specialty food items and much more. The theme for this year’s show is “The Sweetest Gift”. Ticket sales help support community projects and grants. “Proceeds from the Holly Day Fair benefit the Junior League of Fayetteville and its programs targeting homelessness and food insecurities. The grants and community programs funded by the proceeds from the Holly Day Fair have a substantial and lasting impact in our community. We provide an awesome experience for our shoppers. The Junior League of Fayetteville’s contributions to our community would not be possible without the success of our sole fundraiser, the Holly Day Fair.

The Minneapolis Holiday Boutique will return to the football field of U.S. Bank Stadium for a fun and festive shopping extravaganza Friday, Nov. 8 through Sunday, Nov. 10, 2019. Holiday Boutique hours are 10 a.m. – 9 p.m. on Friday and Saturday; 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. on Sunday. The Holiday Boutique brings together exclusive, high- quality vendors and artisan designers that offer the latest styles, trends, jewelry, gifts, children’s items and gourmet foods. More than 300 exhibitors and an estimated 28,000 shoppers are expected join together to create the shopping event of the season. Tickets prices for adults are $10 online and $12 at the door; 12 and under are free. On Friday, seniors over 55 may receive purchase tickets for only $8 at the box office. Need another day to shop?
