Nekoosa Giant Pumpkin Fest

Since 1998, If the air is turning cooler and the leaves are changing to a host of brilliant colors, you know that it’s time for the Nekoosa GIANT Pumpkin Fest in Nekoosa. Convenient parking located at Nekoosa area schools, with FREE shuttle bus service running all day. The Nekoosa GIANT Pumpkin Fest is an event that offers something for everyone in the family. The main attraction is the GPC sanctioned Atlantic Giant Pumpkin weigh- off featuring pumpkins of all shapes and sizes. The event also features a giant squash, watermelon, cantaloupe and tomato weigh-off, and long gourd competition. For those with a creative flair the Nekoosa Giant Pumpkin Fest offers Pumpkin Carving and Decorating contests, as well as the delicious Great Pumpkin Bake-Off. And if your interests are a little more daring you can pilot a Giant Pumpkin down the Wisconsin River for charity in the Pumpkin Boat Regatta.
