Come and explore a revolutionary-era mansion that welcomed many distinguished guests including: George and Martha Washington, Alexander Hamilton, Ulysses S. Grant, William Howard Taft, Herbert Hoover, Gerald Ford and George Herbert Walker Bush. The museum and historical center’s vast archives include letters from Thomas Jefferson and Benjamin Franklin.

Admire Victorian-era women’s fashions or sip tea on the glass-enclosed porch overlooking the mansion’s formal English parterre gardens. Finish with a garden tour highlighting an artistic array of historical horticulture, including some of New Jersey’s oldest trees.
